Caplyr — AI Cost Control Plane

Caplyr ("we", "us", "our") operates caplyr.com and the Caplyr SDK. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Information We Collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. When you use the Caplyr SDK, we collect metadata about your AI API calls including: model used, token counts, calculated costs, timestamps, and enforcement actions. We do not collect, store, or have access to the content of your prompts or AI responses.

How We Use Information

We use your information to: provide the Caplyr service (budget enforcement, cost tracking, alerts), send you enforcement notifications and product updates, improve our service, and process billing through Stripe.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Upstash Redis (encrypted at rest) and processed through Vercel's infrastructure. We retain request metadata according to your plan's retention period (24 hours to 1 year). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional emails, and Vercel for hosting. Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. API keys are hashed before storage. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
